This is a series of the photographic documentation that
register an intervention along the limit of the Natural Protected Area Estero el
Salado, a protected urban estuary, where my father, a biologist, worked whilst
I was a kid. I widened nature photographs taken from my family album and
placed them on the border between the protected area and the rest of the city
of Puerto Vallarta, both emphasizing it as a line of segregation, and fading it
with images that work as windows, searching for an at least aesthetic inclusion,
of the population, in a space thats exclusive for Science (With a capital S), and
a product of bad urbanism (A continuous practice in this city). In the end a
selection of the documentary images is presented with a fragment of a 1971
soil map digitally intervened, in which I add the current protected area.
